It seeks to be more than a company or association, but rather an organization based on the communion of people with the same ideology – the celebration of arts and cultural diversity, the strengthening of ties between people through innovative and inclusive initiatives, and the interest for the cultural and social enrichment of the country.

Among its objectives are the production and promotion of cultural and artistic events in the areas of music, theater, dance, cinema, visual arts, literature; the production of educational activities and programs such as workshops and bootcamps related to different forms of artistic expression; and supporting artistic production through awards and logistical support to emerging artists, social inclusion initiatives, and facilitating collaborative projects such as crowdfunding.

ocorre needs a strong and versatile visual identity, which represents its most crucial aspect: supporting the arts and artists, based on cooperativism.

The merging of two results in one that is stronger; cooperation and mutual help makes us go further, gives us the ability to reinvent and better ourselves.

The two Rs also demonstrate the two main ways in which ocorre embodies cooperation: on one hand, it represents its foundation, based on cooperativism – its ethics, values and principles. On the other hand, it represents its intention to promote and support artists in Portugal.
